Hello Jaguars!
Just a reminder that Jaguars Jr. Pee Wee Equipment distribution will be this Wednesday, July 23 from 5:30 until 7:00 at the Creekside Equipment Shed. This is the shed where we distributed equipment last season. The entrance is a gravel gated driveway located between the entrance for Creekside and the entrance for On Deck Sports.
It is very hot in the shed and fitting equipment can be a lengthy process. Please, bring water for yourself and your player.
Please, bring any certification documents that you have not previously submitted on Wednesday.

Hello Jaguars!

FYI - Just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that per Pop Warner Rules, our kids can't wear WHITE OR CLEAR MOUTHGUARDS on the field. Make sure you purchase another color when you get their mouth guards.

Pee Wees & Jr. Midgets - Wed, July 30 - 5:30-7:00
1. YOUR PLAYER MUST BE WITH YOU TO FIT EQUIPMENT AND WEIGH IN.
2. YOU MUST HAVE ALL CERTIFICATION DOCUMENTATION ON FILE TO PICK UP EQUIPMENT. BRING ANYTHING LACKING WITH YOU!!!
3. BRING WATER!!! IT IS HOT IN THE SHED!!!
4. WE WILL NEED ALL AVAILABLE VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH THIS PROCESS!!!
The Jaguars will provide all necessary equipment for your players except cleats and a mouth guard. However, in the past, players and parents have purchased the following for their individual players to make the season go more smoothly:
1. Pants with pads sewn in (available at New Bern Sporting Goods)
2. Padded chin straps (available at New Bern Sporting Goods)

FYI if you are interested, the Havelock High School football coaches will hold a one day camp on Saturday 7/19 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Cost is $20 if you register prior to 7/12 & $30 if you register after. Attached is a form.
Please note, it lists ages as 8-15 but I have confirmed that younger kids down to 5 can attend.

Those of you planning to attend Jaguar Registration Day this Sat. can really help us out by doing the following:
1. If your child will be getting a physical, plan to arrive by 12:30 - that way we can get all the paperwork and non-doctor stuff out of the way and make our volunteer's lives easier.
2. Please, have as much of your paperwork filled out as possible - if you have any questions or need paperwork, you can contact me via e-mail or by calling 474-5888
3. Please, make your registration checks and your physical checks payable to CRAVEN JAGUARS POP WARNER - registration is $60.00 and the physical fee is $15.00
4. If possible, please provide 3 copies of your child's report card - we have to turn in 2 copies and keep one on file and that will save us time and money
5. Please, make sure to bring a copy that we can keep of your child's birthcertificate if he/ she didn't participate last season - we can't get them certified through Pop Warner without it
6. Please, provide us with a color wallet sized head shot photo of your child - Pop Warner is doing things a little differently this season and we will need this picture for your child's registration packet

As you know, Pop Warner requires us to obtain a copy of your child's
2007-2008 report card showing all four grading periods. This season, they
will require us to submit 2 copies of the report card to nationals and keep one
in our certification books.
Those of you who have access to copy machines could really help us out by
making 3 copies of your child's report card to submit. It would save the
Jaguars a lot of time and money.

Hello - Thanks so much to Kathy Pike who has graciously volunteered to coordinate our concessions for our home games!
Kathy will need everyone's help to make sure that the concession stand is staffed for all available times.

With the addition of new Tiny Mite and Mitey Mite teams, our Jaguars will need lots of money to make this season the best year yet.
We are considering some fundraising options. One option is the BRAX Spirit Cup Fundraiser - you can learn about this fundraiser at http://www.spiritcups.com/. Several of the coaches did a test run with this fundraiser this winter and found that the cups sell easily.
We would like your feedback on this and other fundraising opportunities of which you are aware. Also, if fundraising isn't your thing and you'd rather just make a general donation, please, let us know that too.

The 2008 Pop Warner Registration Forms and Physical Forms are now posted on the Pop Warner Website. You can download and complete these forms by clicking on the links below. All 2008 Craven Jaguars must have these two forms completed and on file with us prior to any participation in our program. We will also need a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and a FINAL REPORT CARD SHOWING ALL FOUR GRADING PERIODS on file for all participants prior to participation.
